cpanel - Prestashop - Page not found after protect admin directory -


i'm trying protect prestashop 1.6 admin directory via cpanel - password protect directories, , when enable protection , try access admin throw url i'm redirect 404 page not found.

i have other websites directory protection , don't have problem.

cpanel password protect should work difficult why not working. there alternative way. instead of password protection, can restrict admin area using .htaccess. add following in .htaccess of admin area:

order deny,allow deny allow 11.22.33.44 allow 12.34.56.78

you can add ip range or individual ips.

Android soft keyboard reverts to default keyboard on orientation change -
