credentials - Why does RDP fail after straightforward creation of a Windows VM on Azure? -

i have created azure account (with msdn professional subscription), , created g1 vm running windows 10 preview visual studio 2015. however, rdp connection reports "your credentials did not work".

i have attached series of screenshots of exact process followed, creating identical second vm (with different name, else identical):

azure 1

azure 2

azure 3

azure 4

azure 5

azure 6

azure 7

azure 8

azure 9

azure 10

azure 11

azure 16

i have seen https://stackoverflow.com/a/19982015/368896 , https://stackoverflow.com/a/17329909/368896 - password 8 characters, , contains @ least 1 capital letter, @ least 1 lowercase letter, @ least 1 number, , @ least 1 special character, no spaces, should acceptable; username 10 characters no special characters, should acceptable.

what need connect azure windows 10 vm after straightforwardly create via management console? why rdp failing?

note: have disabled firewall (norton antivirus) on local machine, 1 on run rdp.

like i19 suggested, domain name. can @ using remote desktop connection manager, if managing multiple vms me.
