ruby google-api-client storage slow upload speed -


i consuming ruby google-api-client v0.9.pre1, have upgraded v0.7.1.

i have been aware upload time of files rails server using ruby library slow. however, uploading file file instead of batching , assumed added time. when uplifted 0.9.pre1 refactored the batch_upload apis , still have slow upload times.

the last several attempts have come out 0.23 mb/s upload. taking 12-13 seconds upload 2-3 mb. server hosted on google compute engine has access google storage bucket.

can give me idea why slow upload files server within google's hosting google storage? both aws , rackspace blow google out of water on storage upload speeds. can't think i'm missing something. if not, may head in directions.

anyone getting better speeds? or ideas?

Android soft keyboard reverts to default keyboard on orientation change -

Rendering JButton to get the JCheckBox behavior in a JTable by using images does not update my table -
