Android: API Level and Kernel Version -


just started working on embedded android. , got confused within how figure out kernel version uses api level? how figure out info? or can find relation between api level used in kernel version?

i mean, lets try android 5.1, api level 22 used, in kernel version provides support that?

please correct me if i'm missing something, i'm new embedded android, though have worked on embedded linux.
