android - Disable and grey out activity -


i disable , grey out activity when display view on top of it. same thing displaying dialog i'm not using dialog. instead, want add view current activity , make appear in foreground disable rest of activity responding touch events , have greyed out appearance.

when navigation drawer opens, activity greyed out , disabled. consistent way in activities disabled through common api or have roll own?
