ios - open sms link from web app within uiwebview of 3rd party -


i have mobile web app http://findkeeper.co , users enter being referred via facebook post or message. user coming in using mobile safari within facebook or facebook messenger.

once on page users redirected mailto or sms refer friends. these no longer work.

i've tried few ways, 1 simple sms href link or mailto inside anchor tab, , angular $window or pure javascript window service.

weird thing used work of few days ago, has stopped working - don't think changed.

all mailto , sms links on following test pages fail when within facebook messenger or facebook.

this using ios latest version.

is messenger bug or me. swear working few days ago.
