How to configure Jenkins for distributed load using multiple Jmeter-servers -

i use jmeter generate huge load web-server. slave machines acted jmeter-server, 1 - jmeter master coordinates load , collects statistics slaves. i'm trying integrate system ci (jenkins). that's how now. have 2 separate jenkins jobs: 1 of them prepares slaves running jmeter-server, 1 runs jmeter-master itself. fine 2nd part: generate traffic , collect statistics. issue 1st job. have huge set of slaves can rebooted anytime. so, can't run job initiates jmeter-server once , forget it. need run job every time before jmeter-master. in case on machines (that not rebooted) have multiple copies of java processes (jmeter-server copies). so, i'm looking mechanism start jmeter-server on slave nodes in proper way. ideas appreciated. thank in advance!

read this:

it combines:

  • jmeter

  • maven lazery jmeter plugin

  • jenkins

all have jmeter-slaves start them jenkins using jmeter-server.sh , might want tweak port if have 2 slaves on same host.

then controller reference host machines (in casse default port used):

remote_hosts=test-server-1.nerdability.com,test-server-2.nerdability.com,test-server-3.nerdability.com
