passwords - Superuser Can't Change User Profile -


despite being super user (joomla 3.4), each time try modify user's profile, e.g., edit name or assign them different group, message:

the passwords entered not match. please enter desired password in password field , confirm entry entering in confirm password field.

i not entering password. looks joomla (or mac) autofilling first password entry , wants me fill in confirming password entry.

please advise.

delete auto-filled password , save - browser thing
